Mini Haul + First Impressions

I ran out of a few things over the past week so I ran to Target today. Here is what I got!

• Elf Studio Powder Brush
• Elf Studio Eyeshadow C Brush
• Physicians Formula Powder Finish Concealer Stick in Yellow
• Yes to Blueberries Cleansing Facial Towelettes

All of these are things that I haven't actually tried before! I had just ran out of my Yes to Cucumbers wipes, but they only had the blueberry kind! I like wipes like these for when I work out after school or work. I have heard a lot of good things about the Elf Studio brushes and don't have many brushes to begin with. I am especially lacking in the face brush category. I am excited to experiment with these! The concealer that I purchased took me a long while to pick out. My previous concealer was by the same brand but it was the really creamy kind that comes with a wand. I didn't really care for how the other one applied.

I used the Elf C Brush to apply the Powder Finish Concealer and was very impressed! It was very easy to get an even coverage all around my eye. It was also quite easy to blend with this brush and so far there hasn't been any shedding. It may take me a while to get this method down, but I think I will like it more than using my fingers for everything.

John Frieda Clear Shine

My friend gave me this product after she had tried it. She didn't care for it much, and to be honest I didn't either at first. I tried doing the daily use instructions and there was absolutely no difference in my hair. Yesterday I decided to give the "weekly treatment" version of the directions a go. I was very surprised! My hair is smoother, much more shiny, and very easy to comb through after this treatment.

I think in the near future I may try a few other drug store "glossing" hair treatments so that I can have some thing to compare this with. I have only previously used a clear glaze by Big Sexy Hair (it is fantastic!).
